Since school got out in May I have had a summer filled with travel (I’ve been to 26 states this summer!) and adventures! Including a recent trip to Alabama where I enjoyed birding in celebration of the Year of Alabama Birding. As I was looking for birds, I thought of a number of books for kids about birding and thought it would be fun to send out a themed book list! Even if you can’t make it to Alabama this year to try and find the over 400 species of birds that call Alabama home, your young readers can enjoy reading about birding from home!
My goal is simple: Provide book recommendations you can trust so your 8-12 year-old reader can find their next right book.
What themed book recommendation lists would you like to see in the future?
